History

Little Longborough Dance Club history began in April 2010 and it started because we wanted to do more dancing, playing and show others just how much fun it can be.  Rather than just practise dance tunes at home we thought that it would be much more worthwhile to start a club to widen our own repertoire of music, to learn new dances and teach them to others.  Our good friend Mike Moore very kindly allowed us use of his converted barn at Little Longborough farm and the Wednesday LLDC nights began! Today, eleven years on, we have lots of members and a turnout of around 25 / 30 dancers per evening. In May 2014, we moved to Rainford Village Hall and in September 2023 we moved again to The Orchard, Christ Church Hall, Eccleston St. Helens WA10 5DA.
