History

Little Longborough Dance Club  history began in April 2010 and it started because we wanted to do more dancing, playing and show others just how much fun it can be.  Rather than just practise dance tunes at home we thought that it would be much more worthwhile to start a club to widen our own repertoire of music, to learn new dances and teach them to others.  Our good friend Mike Moore very kindly allowed us use of his converted barn at Little Longborough farm and the Wednesday LLDC nights began! Today, six years on, we have lots of members and a turnout of around 20 / 25 dancers per evening. In May 2014, we moved to Rainford Village Hall, WA11 8HB, which is a lovely, spacious Edwardian building with a sprung floor and lit by chandeliers!
